This is Going Deep’s midseason hockey special. A 2 hour-episode dedicated completely to the NHL!

I have Matthew Fitzgerald on as a guest to help me discuss and analyze the season thus far. We discuss many subjects, starting with the Waiver wire/Nabokov situation, Marc Savard/headshots, and our surprises and dissapointments so far in the NHL season, both teams and players.

In the 2nd hour of the show, we hand out our midseason awards, and also make predictions on who will win the Stanley Cup, and which teams to look for. We cover just about as much hockey as you could handle! And if there is anything we missed then feel free to tweet me @thesportsgrind, or e-mail me Robinson_84@hotmail.com. Or matthew @bigpoppafitz.  Always fun to hear from the listeners, and whatever you suggest we might include next week! Thank you for listening, and hope you enjoy!

This is the 1st ever episode of Going Deep. In this podcast, i look at the 4 games from this past weekend (Bal @ Pitt , NYJ @ NE, Sea @ Chi & GB @ Atl), and break down all the big plays/turning points of each game. Also preview this weekend's upcoming games (NYJ @ PIT and GB @ CHI), analyze the matchups, make predictions and discussing who the key players will be in each game. This week the podcast only focuses on the NFL playoffs, as the season is winding down. So although I only discuss football this week, I will be discussing all the others sports in the future shows.

Thank you for listening, hope you enjoy it! And if you have any comments or suggestions for future shows, do not hesitate to write me on twitter @thesportsgrind, or e-mail me Robinson_84@hotmail.com
